Jeff Barrie

Jeff was born and raised in the Ottawa Valley, where he developed a strong work ethic and practical skills working alongside his father on farming and construction projects. One of his early experiences included contributing to the development and operation of a hydraulic generating station that supplies electricity to Ontario’s power grid — a project that reinforced the value of precision, responsibility, and hands-on problem solving.

The majority of Jeff’s professional career was spent in the high-tech sector, where he held technical services and account management roles with both domestic and international responsibilities. Over 27 years, he built a strong foundation in customer engagement, operational excellence, and client satisfaction — skills that now directly support the success of Suite Moves.

In 2020, after nearly three decades in high tech, Jeff’s role was impacted by the broader economic effects of COVID. What initially felt uncertain quickly became an opportunity. With a thoughtful exit strategy in mind and the support of a fair transition package, Jeff saw the moment as a chance to pivot toward something entrepreneurial and closer to home.

Around the same time, his oldest daughter became engaged and planned to host her wedding on the family farm property. That experience highlighted a clear need for upscale, reliable restroom solutions for outdoor events — and Suite Moves Luxury Washroom Rental Services was born.

Today, Jeff takes pride in serving couples and event hosts throughout Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. What he enjoys most is meeting great people during some of life’s happiest moments and helping make those celebrations seamless and memorable.

Jeff is married to Colleen and is a proud father of two daughters and grandfather to two (and counting!). When he’s not delivering luxury washroom trailers across the Valley, you’ll likely find him managing property projects, cutting far too much grass, or spending time with his growing family.
